Our Mission
To advance the Indian Metallurgical Coke Industry by promoting sustainable practices, fostering innovation, and supporting the nation's economic development through Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India initiatives.
The Metallurgical Coke (Met-Coke) Industry in India has a rich history spanning over a century. There are over 100 merchant Met-Coke plants located all across the country. Met-Coke serves as an essential raw material for the production of Steel, Ferro Alloys, Soda Ash and in several other Industries.
The Indian Metallurgical Coke Manufacturers Association (IMCOM) is the apex industry association representing the merchant Met-Coke Manufacturers across India. IMCOM and its members are committed to supporting the Government's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India.
Currently, the Indian Met-Coke Industry provides livelihoods to over 1,50,000 people nationwide, predominantly from economically disadvantaged communities.
